Who We Are

Alana Durrent is a local architect, registered with the Architects Registration Board, with membership of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects (RSUA), Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Ulster Architectural Heritage (UAH). She works within Limavady, the Roe and Foyle Valleys and surrounding areas, having grown up in the area and worked there over the last two decades.

Our experience derives from Devon and Hampshire in the south of England with influences from Oxfordshire, the banks of Lake Geneva and around the world to form an agile bijou practice, adaptable with a wide skill set to overcome any project requirements.

Our practice focus is architectural sustainability through reuse and renovation. In addition to low energy new builds, we often take on the design challenge of renovating and extending existing buildings using modern innovation and renewable technologies to bring them up to today's living standards and extending their lifespan for the next generation. We work on small to medium projects concentrating on user requirements, conservation of traditional features and design, the quality of the built environment and the character of the local area.
